Celebrating FoodCycle’s partnership with wagamama

wagamama have been supporting FoodCycle for just over a year, and this October we’re excited to share the next phase of our partnership.

Introducing the Revive Juice: Giving overlooked ingredients a second life

wagamama has added the Revive Juice to their menus —a brand-new green juice that puts a fresh spin on reducing food waste by giving overlooked ingredients a second life!

Blending classic ingredients like apple, spinach, and ginger with often-discarded cuts like broccoli stems and coriander stalks, this vibrant drink proves that even the most unlikely ingredients can be turned into something delicious and nutritious.

Best of all? 20p from every Revive Juice sold will go directly towards supporting FoodCycle’s work in communities across the country. Every glass enjoyed helps us serve nourishing meals to thousands of people across England and Wales.

Lending expertise beyond the menu

Our partnership extends far beyond the menu. Over the past year wagamama chefs have taken over FoodCycle kitchens and worked with our volunteers to create delicious wagamama dishes for our guests, including their famous katsu curry. They’ve also joined us at our volunteer celebration events, passing on their hospitality knowledge to help us deliver a warm welcoming experience at our weekly community meals.

Feed the people week and World Food Day

To celebrate our partnership and to coincide with World Food Day (16 October), wagamama have launched their ‘Feed the people’ week.   Throughout the week their top chefs, will once again lend their culinary expertise directly to FoodCycle’s community dining projects.

Join us in making a difference

We’re incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved together over the past year and we’re excited to see how the partnership continues to grow.

Next time you visit wagamama, make sure to try the new Revive Juice, enjoy the refreshing flavour, and know that your order is directly supporting FoodCycle’s mission to stop loneliness and hunger, food poverty and food waste.
