It was during Covid. I saw a leaflet on the floor for FoodCycle Newport, and it turned out to be a lifesaver. At the time, I had no gas or electricity, so I couldn’t cook, and my place was freezing cold. FoodCycle gave me warmth, food, and a chance to socialise with others during such an isolating time.
