Lentil Soup

Ingredients

onion(s) (peeled and chopped)

garlic cloves (peeled and chopped)

carrot(s) (chopped)

green lentils

stock cube(s)

Equipment needed: Hob & saucepan

Method

  1. Put some oil in a saucepan and wait till it warms up, add the onion and
    carrot and cook for about 3 minutes on medium heat.

  2. Add the green lentils, garlic, water, and stock cube.

  3. Mix and bring the water to a boil.

  4. Turn down to low heat and let simmer for 45 minutes or until lentils have broken down.

  5. Serve with bread.
