egg yolk(s)

Equipment needed: Rolling pin, baking tray, baking paper.
Preheat oven to 200C/180C fan/gas 6.
Dust your work surface lightly with cornflour.
Roll out the pastry.
Remove sausage skins and shape the meat along the pastry. Fold over, crimp, and cut into small rolls.
Place on a lined baking tray, brush with egg yolk.
Bake for 30–35 minutes until golden.
Cool slightly on a rack before serving.
