red chilli's (deseeded and finely chopped)

garlic cloves (peeled and crushed)

asparagus (ends trimmed and cut into lengths)

lemons (zested and juiced)

leeks (cut into lengths, then thin strips)

Equipment needed: Hob and frying pan
Cook spaghetti (according to instructions on packet), adding the asparagus for the last 3 mins.
Meanwhile, heat the oil in a large frying pan and add the leeks and chilli and cook for 5 mins. Stir in the garlic and lemon zest and juice and cook for a few minutes more.
Drain and add the pasta to the pan with a bit of the pasta water and toss everything together until well mixed.
Serve and enjoy!
