Find a community meal

Ready to Mingle this Valentine’s Day?

Let FoodCycle be your date this Valentine’s day!

We promise we won’t ask any awkward questions, definitely won’t eat food off your plate and there will be no fighting over who picks up the bill!

We know that a lot of the guests who eat with us come to our meals because they are experiencing feelings of loneliness and isolation. We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to make meaningful connections with others, so we ensure that our guests feel welcomed and included in our weekly meals.

Almost half of all adults in the UK report feeling lonely, and one-third of adults eat their meals alone. For some people, Valentine’s day can be difficult and that’s why this week (and every week) we cordially invite you to join us for a free, three-course meal at your local FoodCycle. Not only will you be able to enjoy a delicious and healthy meal, but you will also be helping to fight food poverty and food waste in your local community. There is plenty of chat, endless brews and from experience, our projects often have a pretty good pudding to end the evening.

FoodCycle meals are a safe and welcoming environment for everyone, regardless of background or circumstance. So, come on over and break bread with us this Valentine’s Day.
