Find a community meal

A FoodCycle twist on #GivingTuesday

It’s only the 1st of December and if you’re already sick of the Christmas hype, you’re not the only one.

Today marks Giving Tuesday – an antidote to packed streets, stressful shops, frantic Black Fridays and Cyber Monday meltdowns. Today is the day you can forget about the the tinsel and turkey malarkey – and support a cause you actually care about.

Over 800 UK charities took part last year and this year we’re asking you to do something a little different.

Give your time

If you’ve been thinking about volunteering with us, why not make today the day you sign-up?

Give some time back to your local community and sign up to volunteer with FoodCycle.

Give your energy

If you’re already a FoodCycle fan and have been looking to support us a little more, why not think about becoming a Hub Leader?

Give some love

Eating together is what we’re all about – many of our guests say it’s the one chance in a week they have to sit down and share a meal with someone else. We think eating together is one of the most important things you can share with another person.

Dedicate some time today to sit down today with friends, family or colleagues. Share your meal with us today @foodcycle #GivingTuesday.

(And if you’d like to give us a little early Christmas present, you can always donate here!)
