Where the Meals Go

After each event, the delicious meals made by your team are delivered to local organisations who are providing support to the community. One of those, is Ace of Clubs, a day centre in Clapham supporting people facing homelessness. Here’s what they had to say about the impact of the meals:

“Since the partnership with FoodCycle, we have received almost 500 meals from them in total!

These meals go a long way to ensure our guests leave our centre with a hot, tasty & nutritious meal. Giving these meals to our guests ensures more people have the chance to eat a healthy and nutritious meal but to also ensure there is less food waste in the community thus having a positive impact on the environment.

FoodCycle and their generosity have really eased the burden on our community and we are very thankful for the work they do.”

Testimonials

“If you’re a company looking for a meaningful way to give back, and bond as a team, then look no further. You’ll leave feeling accomplished and full of innovative ideas to use up fruit and veg that would otherwise have gone to waste.”
Rude Health

“When I joined the volunteering committee at Wild, I was excited to get Wild involved in the project. Not only does FoodCycle tackle food poverty and loneliness, it also tackles mass consumer food waste, which aligns with Wild’s sustainability goals.”
Wild Cosmetics

“Volunteers really enjoyed getting creative, using fresh surplus food to make nutritious meals for those who may be lonely and isolated, on low incomes or homeless whilst also thinking about their own food habits and practices. Huge thank you to the FoodCycle Team for providing us with such fun and informative volunteering days”
