Equipment needed: Oven, baking tray(s) & mixing bowls
Preheat your oven to 170°C fan/190°C non fan/gas mark 3.
In a bowl, use your hand to mix together the sliced peaches (no need to peal them) and other filling ingredients (strawberries, caster sugar, ginger and the orange juice). Leave them marinating for a few minutes enhance the taste.
In another bowl, mix together the butter and sugar.
Split the butter in tiny pieces and spread it around the bowl of sugar and flour.
With a fork or with the tip of your fingers, rub the pieces of butter with the flour, making it into a sandy looking mixture. Mix it into a crumbly mixture rather than a dough.
Place the filling into an oven proof tray and spread the crumble mix on top of it.
Bake it on the oven for 55 minutes.
