Equipment needed: Hob & saucepan
Put some oil in a saucepan and wait till it warms up, add the onion and carrot and cook for about 3 minutes on medium heat.
Add the green lentils, garlic, water, and stock cube.
Mix and bring the water to a boil.
Turn down to low heat and let simmer for 45 minutes or until lentils have broken down.
Serve with bread.
