*Please note, FoodCycle no longer delivers food parcels. This was a temporary service which was set up in response to the COVID pandemic. FoodCycle runs weekly community meals, find your nearest meal now!
Our guests need us more than ever and whilst we can’t run our community meals at the moment, we are pleased to announce that we are trialling the delivery of free food parcels in London (Finsbury Park, Kilburn and Norwood Junction), Birmingham, Newcastle, Bristol, Clacton, Exeter, Prestwich and Cambridge.
Our volunteers take donated surplus food, bag it up into food parcels and deliver to the doorsteps of our guests.
A huge thank you to our incredible Programme team and volunteers who have been working so hard to ensure that we continue to save surplus food and support vulnerable people in our local communities.
We hope to expand this service into other areas over the coming weeks. **Please note, where there is an increase in demand we may have to stop taking referrals for certain areas, we will always aim to reopen as soon as we can.**
If you are interested in receiving a food parcel, for you or someone you know, please complete our online referral form – please note the service is only operating in the areas listed. Completing the form doesn’t guarantee the delivery of a parcel, if we are able to deliver to you, we will text or call you to confirm the day and time slot.
A special thank you to Circuit who have provided their Circuit for Teams product for free, to help us carry out our deliveries as efficiently as possible. A service that they are offering to care providers, food banks, cleaners, or any other charitable service that can benefit from route optimization, driver-tracking, and planning services.

FAQ’s
What food will I receive?
We can’t guarantee what you will receive as all items are donated surplus food. However, we will always try, where possible to provide a good mixture cupboard and fresh food but it all depends on what donations we receive that week.
Can I make preferences on what kinds of food I need?
All of the food we provide is donated surplus food, so we don’t know what we will receive each week, which means we are unable to tell you in advance. Please do let us know if you have a food allergy though.
How long will the food supply last me for?
As all the food we provide is donated surplus, the quantities we receive can vary each week, so we are unable to confirm or guarantee this.
Do I need to pay for the food delivery?
No – this service is free of charge.
Will this be a weekly service that will be on a roll-over basis or do I need to re-apply?
You only need to apply once, however as we rely on donated food, we can’t guarantee that we will be able to deliver every week. We will always confirm any delivery with you via text.
Will I receive a cooked meal?
This will not be a cooked meal; it will be a selection of donated surplus food items. We cannot confirm in advance, what these will be.
How do I know when I will receive my delivery?
You will receive a text to confirm your delivery day and a delivery time slot.
Will the delivery driver come into my property?
The delivery driver will not enter your premises, they will leave the delivery on your doorstep and retreat to a 2m distance while you collect it.
Should I pay the delivery driver?
The driver will not require any further information such as bank details, telephone number or personal information or require any sort of gift, tip or reward.
