FoodCycle’s impact in 2016

We’re so happy to announce FoodCycle’s third impact report which we launched at the beginning of 2016! It’s a celebration of everything our volunteers do to build communities, support vulnerable people and make a difference to the lives of our guests.

To celebrate, we launched the report at a special breakfast event attended by friends, funders and guests which was catered by the fantastic FoodCycle LSE team.

Highlights from 2016 include:

  • 9 new projects
  • over 37,000 community meals served
  • 87% of our guests saying FoodCycle has a positive effect on their community
  • 59 tonnes of surplus food reclaimed
