Find a community meal

What is community dining?

Community dining means sharing a free, tasty meal with other people in warm surroundings.  Local volunteers cook up wholesome veggie meals using food that would have gone to waste.

But community meals are about more than just food.  We’re here to nourish your mind, belly and soul. Creating spaces to chat, meet new friends and feel part of something.

Whoever you are, wherever you are from, whatever your background, faith or identity, we have a seat waiting for you.

We kindly ask, that when joining us for a meal you follow our community meal guidelines (what we call our Project Agreement).

How to join us

  • Find us – Head to our map to find your nearest meal – we’ve got lots venues across England and Wales, running every week.
  • Turn up – No need to book for our community meals! Just come along at the time listed, and our lovely volunteers will greet you with a big smile.
  • Take a seat – Sit wherever you like – with friends or next to someone new.
  • Enjoy your meal – Dig into a delicious three-course meal, cooked and served by our amazing volunteers.
  • No washing up! – Leave the clearing and scrubbing to us – you just relax, chat, and enjoy the friendly vibes.
  • Want to volunteer? – you can find out more on our volunteering pages.

Join us at the table

If you’re feeling lonely, we’re here to offer company and a friendly chat.  If money’s tight, we’re here with a free, healthy meal. If you want to do your bit for the planet, we’ll help you reduce food waste.

Come along and make yourself at home.
