FoodCycle is powered by the great volunteers across the country.
However, there is a dedicated team in London that supports the local Hubs to make sure each one is a great success.
The Team.
There is also a team of dedicated interns and volunteers who help out with events organising, manning the website, creating information materials, and spreading the FoodCycle word.
Kelvin Cheung
Kelvin is the CEO and founder of FoodCycle. Before starting FoodCycle, he worked for the award winning social enterprise, MyBnk which develops young people’s financial and enterprise literacy. Kelvin hails from Canada and when he’s out of the office, he’s usually on one of his bikes, dodging traffic, exploring the countryside, or in some English forest racing mountain bikes. His favourite food is his grandma’s pork and chive dumplings.
Tory Coates
Tory is our Hub Development Manager. She looks after the running of existing Hubs and leads the expansion of FoodCycle to new and exciting places. A woman of many talents, her favourite phrase is 'Amazing!!!' In her spare time, she runs marathons for fun. Her favourite food is Thai Panang Curry, a dish that brings back memories of when she was living in South-East Asia.
Jessica Veltman
Jessica is the Project Manager for the FoodCycle Community Cafés happening in Pimlico and Haringey which are community cafés open to all. Jessica loves Scottish ceilidh dancing, karaoke, dinner parties and country walks. She also likes boxes - the physical storage kind and the metaphysical kind.
