Birmingham Aston Hub
FoodCycle Birmingham runs in partnership with Birmingham Settlement, a fantastic community organisation who provide a range of money advice, children’s and older people’s services in the Aston area.
We cook at Birmingham Settlement every Sunday lunchtime. To sign up to volunteer at one of our new sessions, please register below.
We’re always looking for helping hands to come along, and everyone is welcome to get stuck in, no matter what your ability in the kitchen!
If you’d like to get involved, please click here to register with FoodCycle Birmingham or to sign up for a volunteering opportunity.
Become a Hub Leader!
We also have a number of opportunities for new Hub Leaders to join the FoodCycle Birmingham team, helping to not only run our weekly cooking sessions but also taking the lead in managing all aspects of our FoodCycle Hub, from co-ordinating other volunteers, managing relationships with food donors, and community fundraising, to community engagement, marketing, PR and social media.
We currently have opportunities to join the team - take a look at our Hub Leader page for vacancies.
Our new service will initially be only for existing service-users at Birmingham Settlement.
People from all walks of life can be at risk of food poverty and social isolation. Please consider a donation. Just £3 helps us to serve a nutritious three-course meal in a warm and friendly environment where everyone is made to feel welcome.
