Could your company help us to reduce food poverty and food waste in the UK? We work with companies in a number of capacities, all of which help us to provide more meals to vulnerable people in the community.
FoodCycle has partnered with organisations of all sizes from a diverse range of sectors in the past. We appreciate that every partnership is unique, and would be excited to work with whatever resources you have available.
Here are just some of the ways you could support us:
Take part in the Food Invention Challenge
We’ve partnered with employee event specialists Volume 48 to create bespoke events for groups of 20 up to 100 people. Our Food Invention Challenge is great for team-building, employee engagement and meeting CSR goals - all whilst helping FoodCycle come up with new recipes and meals! Get in touch for more details.
Nominate FoodCycle to be your company’s charity of the year
This is a great way to bring people from different departments together and get your whole company united around a common goal. We can offer a range of fun volunteering and fundraising opportunities that can help your staff to gain new skills and experiences.
Invite your employees to volunteer at a FoodCycle Hub
By working directly at our projects, you’ll get to see the value of your support first-hand and try out your skills in the kitchen!
Offer Pro bono support
We rely on companies who like what we do and are happy to offer some of their skills and expertise to help FoodCycle develop. This website, for instance, was built by the fantastic Maverick Digital, as was this video!
Team-building through fundraising and challenge events
Whether you’re looking to run a marathon or take on an obstacle course, we’re sure your staff will have a great time training and pushing themselves to the limit – all in aid of FoodCycle’s projects!
Showcase your product and show your support for FoodCycle by donating a small amount on each sale. For example, the Little Pancake Company donate 25p for each pancake mix sold online. Please get in touch to discuss this further.
Payroll Giving is the most tax-efficient way for employees to give. Because the donation is taken from your gross pay, every pound you give will only cost you 80p, or only 60p if you are a higher rate tax payer. Sign up here and make a real difference today!
Case Study: Cognolink
FoodCycle was delighted to be chosen by Cognolink as their Charity of the Year for 2014/15.
“We chose to partner with FoodCycle as we wanted to work with a charity that directly benefitted local communities, and enabled hands-on involvement. With FoodCycle, there is always the option to volunteer at one of their hubs, the money we raise has a much bigger impact, and they procure spaces at a lot of interesting events. Aside from the feel-good benefits that come from fundraising for a great cause, the events and volunteering sessions have been invaluable in cross-department collaboration and team building.”
- Luke Archer, Marketing Associate at Cognolink
