Breadline Challenge 2016

Take part in the fight against food poverty

In our Hubs up and down the country, people are constantly struggling to make ends meet. Many of our guests don’t have enough money to afford groceries and are often forced to skip meals.

The Breadline Challenge is a campaign to raise awareness of what it’s like to be hungry in Britain today.

We ask supporters to live on a food and drink budget of £2.50 a day for one week in November to raise vital funds for FoodCycle’s work across the country.

If you have any questions about the Breadline Challenge, check out our handy FAQs sheet or don’t hesitate to drop us a line by emailing [email protected].

The campaign raised over £4,000 and much needed awareness about food poverty - thank you to everyone who took part!

Help us to make sure no good food is wasted. Donate your time, food or money. Thank you!
